Thanksgiving

Luke was counting, and for some reason every time he got to three he would do this...he's so silly!
Lily's feet. Aren't they cute?
Luke and Emmy sitting on Grandma's lap - so happy she was there.
Baby Lils not feeling so hot
Ya - so we were trying to find the giblets and I was reaching as far in to find them, until I realized there were two holes and the bag was at the other end...gross.

So, my mom and Aunt Char came to Kalispell for Thanksgiving. The kids were so excited to have them here. I made my first turkey and entire meal by myself. Our oven doesn't shut right and is 20 degrees off, so when the turkey was supposed to be done - even according to the thermometer, it was still bright red. Wonderful. So we threw it back in the oven at like 450 degrees and got it cooked just in time to be placed at the table at the very end of dinner.
Lils was feeling horrible at the end of the night due to what I think was a stomach ache. But all in all it was a pretty good day.
Tonight, we are going to go to a parade and then at 8, Santa is coming to the mall and there will be milk and cookies for all to enjoy. Have you ever seen Elf? When he sees Santa at the mall, and screams, "SANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Um, ya, that's pretty much my life.

Santa coming to town...

All day on Halloween, Luke and Emma kept asking about Santa. I had to tell them over and over that first we had to do this before Santa could come. So in between Halloween activities we were watching Christmas Sing Alongs all day long. On Halloween night Dave and I sold some stuff to a woman. As we were loading it into her car, Luke found our Christmas boxes, or as he would call it, "Santa, Santa, Santa!!!!" Luke and Emmy were so wired from all their Halloween candy I couldn't get them to sleep. So, I told Luke that if he went upstairs to bed, I would let him sleep with something Santa.
I grabbed their cheepy stockings and let them each sleep with it.
The next morning, Luke and Emmy broke out of their rooms and I came downstairs to find Luke wearing both stockings on his feet. He looked at me and said, "Santa come to town." It was hilarious!
