A milestone in Dave and my lives

Well, we didn't buy it but a customer of Dave's gave it to him. So, now we have a bottle of wine in our home...
As for drinking it, we don't have any way of opening the bottle - so it will make a nice decoration. We are slowly making steps to becoming lushes :)

Emma's flashback to the 80's

Mom bought Emma (well, really all 3 kids) clothes recently off Ebay, and Emma got this really cute skirt and leggings. It's totally cute....

Apple

Today we reached a new milestone. I was able to grab two apples out of the fridge and let them go at it. They loved it!

More pictures...

Want some?
Ya standing up in the chair always seems like a good idea until she falls out and lands on the floor. Yet, she forgets this lesson daily - multiple times. I love almost two year olds. They are so cool.

He was very focused...

Emma enjoyed organizing the playdough pieces. She was very organized with her pieces. And when Luke dared to touch some of her pieces, she let him know it was unacceptable.

Her shirt says, "someday I'm going to demand a pony." I'm sure she will.

Look Mom, no hands!!!

Luke needed the blue dough - his new favorite word is blue...and no.

Lily got to have tummy time while Luke and Emma were strapped in their seats. She was safe, and she knew it. Oh ya, she is quite the big girl now...she is spinning in circles now on the floor.
Emma makes sure that Lily is well entertained in her swing. She provides Lily with many toys - of all shapes and sizes.
We played with playdough today for the first time. After taking a bite to start out with, we realized that it wasn't for eating but for playing with. They really had a lot of fun - for about ten minutes.

So cute in her pig tails - they stayed in for about two hours.

Our daily routine

The bag worked great to distract Luke from the fact that dinner was being cooked.
Emma was much more of a fan of the bag than Luke - she danced around the table with the bag on her head.

Emma in a box - She has always loved fitting herself into small places. But she had to make sure she was in a box on Daddy's lap.

Having fun with paper bags - ya, they still have paper bags in Montana. Pretty cool, huh?

Emma wearing my platforms. They were a piece of cake after running a mile in her high heels. She is an old pro!

Ya, ya, he knows he's cute!

Emma having fun outside, her favorite place.
Emma wanted to take pictures.

Luke wearing Daddy's boots - pretty big shoes to fill...
Isn't Emma precious? She loves that bucket...and the balance beam

I had to actually break out the sunscreen lotion last weekend. Luke's hair was styled with it. He's a stud, and he knows it!
Lily was just chillin' with us outside, covered by her blanket and wearing big sis' hat. She's so cute.
Doesn't she look like such a big girl?

Justin from next door introduced himself. He asked to come over, Luke told him no. He asked if Luke would go over there, Luke said no. He asked what Luke's name was, and Luke said, "no no no."

Aunt Char and Luke love each other....
Emma patiently waits for Aunt Char's full attention. Lily watches and dreams of the near future when she will get to vie for Aunt Char's attention.

Luke loves the sticks, he loves the drums. Everything is his drum...
Aunt Char! She surprised Luke and Emma for the weekend. They were so thrilled.

Walking on the "balance beam" They are very good gymnasts, and very brave when they jump off the end.

Emma's high heels - she loves them. They are her new favorite shoes...she knows they are very princessy!

Luke was trying to climb under the fence, I caught him before he actually succeeded!

Luke and Emma got stools for the bathroom so they could be big kids and brush their teeth in front of the bathroom. Now, they brush their teeth for 15 minutes twice a day...and then cry hysterically when I tell them, "all done."

A moment of silence before bedtime - it was actually peaceful in our home - for a moment.

They are starving. I never feed them. I am the meanest mommy in the whole wide world because I don't allow cookies and crackers readily available all the time. They have no problem letting me know how they feel about the situation...
