Girl Time

Tonight when Dave got home from work, he took Luke and went Christmas shopping. So, Emma and I got to spend some girl time together. She sat in the recliner and watched Barney while I painted her toenails. She was pretty impressed with them - although I think it will take me a couple of times before I get good at painting her nails. Anyway, here are some pics of her modeling her feet.

Hanging out at home

So, Saturday night all through Sunday it snowed and snowed and snowed. So, we skipped church in fear that of all days that would be the day I would go into labor and be an additional 45 minutes away from the hospital in the snow storm. It was actually quite wonderful despite the odd feeling of not being at church. So, Julia (Dave's cousin) hung out with us, and Char came over for dinner that night and we just had a great day. We also decorated the tree, and I'm not sure how long that is going to last. Luke keeps trying to stick the Christmas lights up his nose. Anyway, here are a few pics of just hanging out.

Family baby shower

This Saturday we had the family baby shower at my sister-in-law, Cathleen's, house. It was a lot of fun and I got some really great things. My grandma wasn't able to come, which made me sad, but it was fun none the less. Luke and Emma had a lot of fun as well. Emma was in heaven playing with Alyson's doll house and all her dolls. Luke had fun grabbing cookies off the table and hiding with them. I have a lot of great pics, but the closer I get to having Lily, the less motivated I am to post right now. It will pick up again after Christmas.
